October 2026 Update

1. SDP and PERMITTING: Shortly before Yom Tov we reached a MAJOR milestone - we officially submitted our application for permits to the City. The timing of this step is strategically orchestrated to be just before the completion of our SDP (the process that has taken us just over 2 years now) so that the two reach completion at the same time. While this does not mean that the City is finished with us, it does mean that there is light at the end of the tunnel! Though our architects are reluctant to give us an exact completion date, they are confident that the permits will be issued in the next 5 months or so.

2. General Contractor: As we continue to refine the project based on the City's comments, we continue to communicate with the GC's that we sent the project to for bids so that they can refine their estimates. We haven't come to a final decision on which GC we will use, but there does appear to be a clear front runner. As soon as we have made a final decision we will begin discussing timelines and all of the other exciting details.

3. Fundraising: With the end of the permitting process in sight, we have devoted significant   attention to serious fundraising efforts. We are still in the "quiet" phase, focusing primarily on larger commitments of 6 figures and up, and Baruch Hashem the response thus far has been overwhelmingly positive! We have several of these commitments already finalized and more on the way, Bezr"H!
